The Bachelor in Electronic Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Electrical, Computer, Communications, Telecommunication(s) and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
Mission
The Electronic Engineering Program trains professionals characterized by their leadership, autonomy, innovate and entrepreneurial spirit in the fields of Digital Processing, Vision and Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Circuits, and Embedded Sytems, Telecommunications , Control, Robotics and Automation, and Applications in Telemedicine and Industry, for their preparation with a solid scientific, technical and humanistic base; aspects that make them globally competitive in research and in the permanent search for better technological solutions, which are economically viable and socially responsible for the benefit of the country.
Vision
By the year 2024, the Professional School of Electronic Engineering will achieve a high position in society in the areas of Digital Processing, Vision and Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Circuits and Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, Control, Robotics and Automation, and Telemedicine and Industrial Applications, due to the excellence of its faculty, students and graduates, in addition to the permanent practice of civic values and its national and international projection.

Within a few years after graduation, Ricardo Palma University Electronic Engineering graduates will:

Demonstrate solid technical competence in the areas of design, implementation, operation, maintenance, management and evaluation of electronic systems by proposing and developing inclusive solutions to complex societal problems.
EO2. Versatility and Adaptability
Perform in different roles in the stages of an engineering project and adapt to changes required to achieve objectives.
EO3. Leadership
Participate proactively and progressively assuming leadership roles in multidisciplinary teams.
EO4. Professionalism
Perform as a professional with integrity and ethics, and will comply with technical standards and legal, cultural and environmental regulations.
EO5. Permanent Updating
Be permanently updated to assimilate the advances in the profession and to maintain and strengthen its competitiveness.
Student Outcomes

Nuestra institución otorga La Acreditación ICACIT, que es una auditoría de cumplimiento de estándares internacionales del Washington Accord y el Sydney Accord del International Engineering Alliance, el Seoul Accord, el Canberra Accord y la European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education, adoptados por ICACIT, y se realiza a programas de pregrado y posgrado de instituciones educativas.
ICACIT está conformado por cinco sociedades profesionales y empresariales: Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú (CIP), Confederación Nacional de Instituciones Empresariales Privadas (CONFIEP), Asociación Peruana de Desarrolladores de Software (APESOF), Academia Peruana de Ingeniería (API) y Sección Perú del IEEE, que trabajan de la mano para mejorar la calidad de los profesionales de computación, ingeniería y tecnología en ingeniería con el propósito de satisfacer la demanda de profesionales calificados del país y del mundo.
